HISTORY

Greenberg Supply Company started in 1946 with America still on the heels of its victories in Europe and Japan. It was during World War II that the company founder Irving J. Greenberg, working at Dravo Corporation and Dependable Supply Co., gained invaluable experience in the heating supply industry. He would use that knowledge to form a business that still thrives after 65 years.

In 1974, Gary Greenberg, Irving's son, came to the company and now oversees operations as president. Gary is a graduate of the University of Delaware. Together, Irving and Gary grew the business and expanded their warehousing capabilities at the company's 5th and Church Street location in Wilmington, Delaware. Today, Greenberg Supply boasts more than 42,000 square feet of storage space.

Greenberg Supply wholesales warm-air heating, air conditioning and hydronic equipment and supplies, to include industrial supplies; pipes, valves and fittings; hardware and electrical supplies; tools; and specialty items. Thirty-five employees service a diverse mix of accounts, which includes contractors and other professionals throughout the surrounding area.

Greenberg Supply plans to remain a premiere supplier of HVAC parts by subscribing to a business ethic that has remained constant throughout our history: Maintain a robust inventory, offer competitive pricing and impeccable customer service, and provide a level of technical assistance that is unrivaled in the industry. Superior commitment to our customers' needs has made Greenberg Supply great for 65 years -- and what will make us great for years to come.
